The Agnes W. Žaludová Woman of Quality Medal honors women who have made outstanding contributions to the global quality profession. For over a century, women have played a vital role in advancing quality, yet their impact has often gone unrecognized in a male-dominated field. This award seeks to change that by celebrating female leaders, innovators, and role models who strengthen and advance the quality movement.

Presented once every IAQ Triennial Period, the medal may be awarded to up to three women—representing the regions of Asia, the Americas, and Europe-Africa. Recipients may be recognized for technical innovation, organizational leadership, or service to professional quality organizations.
