Quality in Planet Earth Concerns Think Tank

Mission

To bring planet earth concerns to the mainstream of Quality Management and introduce Quality Management into Planet Earth Concerns (QiPECTT)

The Think Tank works on the process for meeting human communities needs and respective goals in coexistence with ecosystems through sustaining the ability of natural systems to continue to provide the resources upon which the social and economic development depend.

Social and economic sustainability should be in harmony with environmental sustainability, that is the exploiting rate of natural systems should not exceed their regenerative capability.

QiPECTT Committees

Quality Sustainability Award

QiPECTT administers the IAQ Quality Sustainability Award and manages the annual award process. The award model is continuously developed and improved by the Think Tank team to ensure its relevance and quality.

Research and Publications

QiPECTT conducts research in collaboration with the IAQ Research Committee, focusing on how quality management provides a vital foundation for, and effectively contributes to, sustainable development.

Partnership Development

QiPECTT works to establish partnerships and foster close relationships with sustainability organizations, quality organizations, and other stakeholders who can contribute to advancing sustainable development.

The first phase of Project HoPE resulted in the IAQ Global Quality Manifesto, approved in 2021 and since deployed worldwide. Quality organizations across the globe have joined the discussion, with translations into many languages and support from different organizations. The ongoing effort aims to gain endorsement from quality organizations and allied professional bodies, moving toward a coordinated global action plan for sustainable development
